Keith Armstrong Fishing Trip to
Beyond the Banks Guide Service
I was the winner of a fishing trip for 2 to AuSable Forks, NY with guide
Steven Flint of Beyond the Banks Guide Service.  I decided to take my
wife as she loves to fish and we rarely get away without our children.  We
had an amazing time.  The scenery alone was absolutely gorgeous and
peaceful.

We stayed in a chalet with the most beautiful view of the mountains.  All of
our meals were provided and let me tell you, Steven is an incredible cook.
As you will see by the photos we caught a lot of small mouth bass.  The
first day we fished on the St. Regis chain of Lakes and used tubes, crank
baits and buzz baits which resulted in 39 smallies and a pike.  The second
day we fished on Silver Lake and caught 50  more smallies.  Steven is
incredibly knowledgeable of the area and the fishing habits there.  We
really learned a lot.
All 3 of my daughters love to fish and a lot of the things that
Steven taught us we were able to take home to our children.
They have only used live bait for fishing, so imagine how excited
they were about the tube baits and jerk baits.  Steven was an
incredible guide and I cannot say enough about his knowledge.

I would highly recommend booking a trip through Beyond the
Banks Guide Service.  We have never laughed so hard or enjoyed
ourselves more than we did on this trip.  We are looking forward
to seeing Steven again on our next trip that we are planning.  I
can't tell you enough what an incredible gift you offered us and
how much it really meant.  We would not have gone on a trip like
this without your little jump start.  Now we are off and running
thanks to NYOC and Beyond the Banks.
Keep up the great work!

Dan,

I too greatly enjoyed my time with Keith and his wife. Very dedicated
parents, hard-working, blue collar business owners.  For them just
getting away from the kids, business and rat race was as rewarding as
the time spent throwing lures.

Keith and his wife were very novice anglers with very little experience.
They came up to learn & bottle up some basics (beyond live bait) to take
home to teach the young 'un.  I feel I accomplished that as both of them
became pretty skilled with tube baits, jig worms, buzz baits and soft
plastic jerk baits.  Keith did truly enjoy quite a flurry of largemouth action
on the 'Ole buzz baits on Upper St. Regis Lake.  Quite honestly, he
missed 90% of them on the blow-ups, often shouting "Holy S_ _ _!" with
each "shwing and a miss" hook set".  But it didn't phase him at all.  He
had never experienced bass boiling up and pouncing on top of surface
lures before so it was a BIG time for him.

I was happy to have them in my home and feed them handsomely.

Best,

Steven Flint
