| Sunfish Valley Whitetails Hunt 2011 On March 8th 2011 I sat down at my office desk to check my daily e-mails to discover that I had been the lucky winner of a 5 day hunt in Latham Ohio at Sunfish Valley Whitetails. After being a member of The US Outdoorsmen Central for a couple of years now and hearing that news I practically went into shock because of realizing my track record when it comes to winning things! After speaking to Matt Brewster (co-owner) booking my hunt dates for October 31 through November 4th it couldn’t get here quick enough! I would be more than happy to tell the stories of the 140”ish 8pt I had at 50 yards or the upper 160’s clean 10 I had at 25 yards, (that I couldn’t get a clean shot off at) or the 115” 9 pt that was right under my stand teasing me the last night of my hunt, but I was told I should keep this article short and sweet. This was the only thing that the gang at US Outdoorsman Central asked me to do, was tell my story and take pictures so they could show the other members. I wish I had the big buck to show you, next time I will. From the lodging to the hospitality to my guide Heath, I had an awesome time and highly recommend to anyone to book a hunt at Sunfish Valley, you won’t go wrong and who knows you may even come home with the whitetail of your dreams. The one thing that burns in my memory is that I SAW these bucks of a lifetime, it just did not happen to work in my favor. My trip to Sunfish Valley Whitetails in the rolling hills, river bottoms and farm ground in southern Ohio is not one I will soon forget. Seeing seven different bucks in five days and two of which that were book worthy, left me wanting to go back for another run at it as soon as I can get back there! Book a hunt with Sunfish Valley this fall and don’t forget to become a member of the US Outdoorsman Central today! They make trips of a lifetime come true for hundreds of members in the last 5 years, win, lose or draw!
